I took the train to school everyday, and I would walk by this evergreen tree on the way that was constantly filled with birds. In my head I named it “The Chatter Tree” for all the chattering birds and the song took shape from there. More melancholic psychedelia, and an ultimately very simple form, this one is pretty successful in capturing the late night, swirling lysergic vibe (that we had never experienced). –Ross
